A former executive director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank has joined a multi-family office backed by one of Hong Kong’s largest property agencies.
Based in the city, Elaine Wong has joined Centaline Family Office as a consultant, according to a company announcement.
In this role, Wong will advise the senior management team on the firm’s strategic direction and operational processes.
Wong has over 15 years of business management experience in various international private banks. She was most recently an executive director and senior business manager at J.P Morgan Private Bank, where she covered 100 advisors in the Hong Kong market, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Prior to that, Wong also worked at Julius Baer as a business manager for North Asia. Earlier in her career, she was a private banker at UBS.
“Centaline Family Office sees the addition of Elaine to the management team as a commitment to the high quality of service to our clients,” the company said.

Launched in July, Centaline Family Office is backed by Centaline Group, whose business is largely focused on the Hong Kong property market.
The firm has started to tap into Centaline’s vast network of property agents for client referrals, targeting US$1 billion in AUM within its first year, founding partner and general manager Kelly But recently shared with Asian Private Banker.
